So, some personal news:
Last week, the New Britain Bees eliminated my position. I'm going to miss working in the Hardware City, and helping build the team from nothing was something I had never experienced before. Most of all, I want to thank the fans, all the listeners, and the friends that I made in the front office and in the clubhouse. I worked with some incredibly talented people who cared deeply about the success of the team on and off the field. I wish them nothing but the best.
Now I find myself again hunting for jobs, an unrestricted free agent in the sports world. I've been here before - for almost two full years - but I'm optimistic this go around. Although this is still in the early stages, and I'm prepared for the long haul, I'm overwhelmed with the support and the offers to help that I've received in the last week.
So, here we go. My dream would be a social media role with a major league organization, but I'm not above any role in communications in sports, or in an organization working directly with a major league entity. The other dream is a major reach - a job in baseball or ice hockey in either England or Australia. My resume is here, and my portfolio is here. If you have any suggestions, comments, or just want to chat, please reach out. In the meantime, I'm more than happy to help out any team or anyone if I can.
Onward.
